Sue Adams is three years younger than her brother Douglas. When their parents split she moved to Brentwood with her mother and brother, and whilst Douglas went to school in the town she went to Felixstowe College as Bentwood School did not take girls then.
After Douglas's death she was involved in setting up the series of Memorial Lectures that have raised money for environmental causes like Save the Rhino that were close to his heart, and the Virtual 60th Birthday Party that celebrated his life and work.
Active with Sherborne Literary Society, Sue was involved with organising five of their annual literary festivals, and in 2012 this included an exhibition of Douglas Adams memorabilia that the family own.
At LL3 she will be on panels talking about her brother and the early development of Hitchhiker's, as well as judging our competitions.
